Build Lower Body Muscle Without Lifting Heavier Let’s talk about ROM – range of motion!

There has been a lot of discussion about partial range of motion vs full range of motion, but what about increased range of motion?

Not many studies have been done on this topic. But, we do know that increased ROM makes an exercise more challenging without needing to go heavier.

This is great news if you’re training at home or if you simply don’t want to lift heavier weights all the time.

We’ll do a deep dive on 5 exercises that you can try increased ROM with:

  1. 1. Toe-elevated RDL
  2. 2. Heel-elevated dumbbell deadlift
  3. 3. Straddle squat
  4. 4. Heel-elevated frog stance goblet squat
  5. 5. Front foot elevated split squat Experience a better stretch, improved mobility, and possibly increased strength and injury prevention with extra ROM exercises.
