This weekend marked 2 weeks from the Sacramento Pro and 6 weeks from the Bikini Olympia!
Weight has dropped another pound to 130.8, and calories are now at 1860with 150P/40F/220C. I’m getting close to 15K steps on non-training days, and between 10-12K on training days.
Weights were 4x this week with 3 lower body sessions and one upper body session. HILIT (high intensity low impact training) is 2x per week. For this training session, I’m at MI40 gym.
I’m doing upper body with glutes/legs trigger session. Trigger sessions are awesome for getting a little pump, adding some extra volume, and for activating a muscle group.
Sessions should be between 5-10 minutes, and shouldn’t be taxing.
Think about just activating the muscle group and work on getting some good muscle contractions.
I practice posing daily. I keep the goal of weight loss of 1% of body weight per week, as this will help to ensure that the weight lost is mostly fat. Any weight loss that’s greater than 1% of body weight runs the risk of both muscle loss and of slowing the metabolism if the large deficit is sustained over a period of time.
I will most likely lose a few pounds during peak week and most of it will be water weight. I’ll go through everything next week!
